Songs can enter the body the way words cannot. They offer a frame, a mood, a culture, and more. In this workshop we’ll read a few short pieces that weave song lyrics into them and relish the effect. And we’ll use song titles/lyrics as prompts to write and (presto, magic!) see how they offer a time and emotional frame to a story, essay, or poem. We’ll write and share. No experience necessary.

Cost: $40-$60 sliding scale. Please email me (dangpoet – at – gmail.com) to sign up. I’ll send you a PayPal link for payment.

Where: We’ll meet each other online through Zoom.

Who:  Writers of all genres, all levels of experience. Limited to 10 participants.
